How can I get a banner message displayed BEFORE a login attempt is made. Automgr.bat or autouser.bat is no good because it executes AFTER logging in.

How do I setup a login banner (motd)?

A. If you want to have a banner that appears above the login prompt, create a file called "ti_notice.txt" on the router. The text from that file will be displayed above the login prompt.

If you want to have a banner that appears after you log in, create a file called "ti_msg.txt" on the router. The text from that file will replace the "Welcome to the Backbone Technician Interface" message.

The new files will not take affect until you reboot the router.

Thank you very much. BTW, would you know if it is documented anywhere? I have looked and can't seem to find anything on the BayRS CD.
