Battery Replacement

Have on eof the old MICS cabinets that have the Meridian name on the front the double door looking one that actually only has a door on the right that opens. This is running DR5.

Looks like the battery is dead so when the power goes out it defaults.

What battery is used for this unit. I can order them from Refurb supplies here but not sure which one to use and do I have to soldier it:

 
No battery it's a Capacitor

No battery a super cap, you describe a modular 8x24. You have to replace the capacitor if it is not holding a charge or it is a defective circuit.
 
The software cartridge is two piece, just change the ram portion, the big piece.
 
Or maybe just try putting the KSU on a UPS, Depending on how long the power outages are.

You will need 2 for the sleeve, and yes you will need to sodier but its an easy one !
 
If there is a capacitor for memory, how long will the cap hold memory..?

You sure there is not a battery ! ??
