Hi,, I have a battery problem,
I thought It was the battery and I bought a new one but not!
I started to charge the battery for 24h and after that It continues to indicate charge 0%,
when I umplug my laptop it switch off!

It means that my battery isn't charged..somebody knows why?

thanks for your help

It may still be the battery, The 390 is a pretty old model, if you bought a 'new' battery that has been sitting on the shelf unused for several years it could be failed regardless. Does a meter check on the battery contacts give any voltage readings ?

( 390 was about the 3rd laptop fleet buy we had back in 98/99 I think, long since killed off and dumped )

Yes, it has voltage readings!
The problem is when I want to charge it, it doesn't charge.

Do you think that my thinkpad won't work anymore whit any battery?
somebody told me to check DC-DC card. what do u think?

bye
