Battery/Capacitor for DR 5 cartridge

I have an 8x24DS, with DR5, after power loss all programming disappered. Are there capacitors/or batteries in the DR5 cartridge? and can I replace them by disassembling the cartridge? Anyone?

errm, yes, there are capacitors/batteries in the cartridge and yes you can replace them you will need a soldering iron and solder and a bit of patience. it is not an over the counter type thing you will need to go to an electronics component store to buy the capacitors.

It would be nice to know who sells the caps. I have been looking for these caps for a couple of years now. Removal & replacement of these items are no problem.
