I've recently moved my ACCPAC databases from one server to a newer one, and subsequently reinstalled the accpac client on the 7 or so workstations that use ACCPAC. On some workstations I am unable to see any new records created in the batch list, even though they are there, (I can open them by opening an older batch and scrolling to the new one), any ideas why this is happening? Btw everyone uses the same user, which is the administrator.

Accpac version?
Database?

Assuming you have Pervasive, you need to delete the ODBC DSN on the workstation. The ODBC DSN will be recreated for version prior to 5.4, for 5.4+ you need to create the DSN again.

The problem is that reports use the ODBC DSN to connect to the database, and your DSN is pointing to the old server.

Where are the programs installed? If locally then you need not worry, if on the server then you will have some problems.

Setup a user in Accpac for each individual user, it is a bad idea for everyone to use ADMIN.

ACCPAC version is 5.2A, using pervasive sql 8.6, I reinstalled accpac on the workstations, but the program files are on the new server, nothing is installed locally. I will try recreating the DSN, I'll let you know if it works, Thanks.

You were right, the ODBC DSN was pointing to the older server, thanks alot :)
