Batch file to close application 1

Hey guys, I am trying to close a running application with a batch file and I am not having any luck. I can get the program open and make the changes I need, but then I need to program to restart. Does anyone have any idea???

If it is running as a service, try the "net stop" command.

It is not running as a service. Just an open program.

How about:

TASKKILL /F /IM yourapplication.exe
