Batch conversion

I need a way to automate batch conversion of a group of .docs to .pdf as part of a build process (and direct the output). I know that only Distiller offers command line functionality. So I thought I might be able to get around this by finding a way to automate the conversion of the .docs to .ps files and then convert the .ps files to .pdf using Distiller.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't know whether this is exactly what you want, but you can use PDF Links (it's free) to convert a folder full of DOC files into PDF files. You select the folder and then let it go.

I would still need a way to run PDFLinks from a batch script (and pass it the directory). The batch script is part of a larger build process that compiles and deploys a Java program.

Pretty nifty tool, though!
