Hi Guys,

I wish to make a few additions to the registry on my XP-Pro clients, it will take too long manualy, got any neat batch code for doing this?

Cheers, Robo

Maybe something like this ?

1. Make a drivemapping to a share-map on server (example F:\REGMAP), where the PC's can connect to.
2. Make the wanted registry modificatons with regedit on the original PC.
3. In Regedit choose file, than export all the modified .reg key's into F:\REGMAP
Name them something like 001.reg 002.reg etc.
4. Connect PC's to server F:\REGMAP
5. On PC's run %WinDir%\regedit /s F:\REGMAP\001.reg etc.
Maybe you can put point5 in a batchfile/loginscript

I tested it (local), it works.
Maybe first try this procedure LOCAL an a test-PC with some not critical keys.

Succes.

Thats Great, seems logical, long winded but logical.

Cheers Bud

If any one has any quicker resolutions let me know.
