IPOffice Basic Ver 11.0.0.849. My Manager ver is 11.1.1.
I can Log in, look around, attempt to change the emnail address concerning VMail2Email; Apply, Save.
pop up window wants "Immediate" isay OK. another pop-up says "Failed to save the configuration data. (Internal error)"
What would I do to fix the error?
I picked another setting to change that would allow "Merge" save, but I got the same error message.

It has been a bit but I remember this being an issue. You would need to either downgrade your manager to R11.0 or upgrade your system to R11.1. I am fairly certain (not 100% its been a while and Im getting old) that there was this issue with R11 systems and R11.1 manager.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

What would be your very favorite OS version to use on Basic/Partner? My most trouble-free versions have been 9.0.3.0 941, and 9.1.1200.212 and 9.1.7.0 163. Least favorite is 11.0.0.849. I have a new, unused SD card loaded 11.0.4.1.0 011. What happens if I plug it into this cabinet that won't save changes? Or would it be more wise to upgrade the 11.0.0. to the version of my manager: 11.1.1.0.0

I greatly value your comments. When it comes to Basic version, I don't get no respect.

Typically the final SP for a release is best. R9.1.12 and R9.0.12 are both pretty solid but for R8.1(95) was supposedly a "pre-release" of R9.0 so I tend to stick with R8.1(85). You have to be careful on certain releases like R8.0 there are versions that will brick phones if used (clones MAC address and is not recoverable). R7.0(36) is the only R7.0 Id use. Typically the first release (R9.0.0, R9.1.0, R11.0.0.0) are the absolute worse releases although R10.1.0.0 was OK because it was actually just a SP of R10.0... the early R10.0 should be avoided at all costs but most R10.1 are solid. R11.0.4.1 was OK (at the time maybe?) and the newest R11.0.4.7 is OK I hear(although I believe R11.0 has issues with basic mode and paging). R11.1 has been junk start to finish avoid it if possible.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
