I have a question that I know one of you have probably delt with at one time or another and I'm looking for some help.
We have a customer with a Definity G3i R6, they currently use ISDN-PRI for their trunking with caller id, one of their users is asking if it is possible to "log caller id's" on their set. I know you can do with this Partner and such but am not sure on G3i...anyone ever had to deal with this I would really appreciate any info you can give me...

What do you mean log caller id's on their set.

The incomming caller id is logged for all stations in the CMS call records, if there is a cms connected, and can also be set up the be logged with cdr.

However I dont belive any of the phones the plug into a v6 will show past celler ID calls, only the current call. (except if it is an analouge line, and the phone supports it, but I have a feeling that v6 will not push caller id down analouge station lines. Can test if required, we have a v6 floating round somewhere)

Thanks,
Nichol

Logging caller id history is available on later releases of the digital Definity/call manager phones and ipphones, but not on the V6 that I know of.
