Hi,

I have been searching on how to utilize text that has been input into a text field. I am trying to create a variable based on what the end-user types into the text field. So if the user types in "apples" into the text file, I want to assign that value a variable.

I thought it was the text field's name, but that isn't working right now.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
~Craig

Nevermind, I figured it out. I was trying to insert a variable in the file form field's upload destination.

My original statement was:
destination="C:\...\file.#PAM_ID#.jpg"

But instead I have to have this:
destination="C:\...\#PAM_ID#.jpg"

The #'s have to be at the end of the variable. But what if I have a variable with a cf query output...in other words:

I want this:
destination="C:\...\#variable#PAM_ID##.jpg"

Is there another way to write this?

~Craig
