Basic Question about licensing

Hello everybody:

I have a basic question about the licensing. I have purchased Windows 2003 Enterprise with 25 cals, and installed on Dell PE. Additionally i purchased another 20 cals from reseller.

My question how do i add the aditional 20 licenses.

I did try going to
Adminstrative Tools
Licensing
New License:


It deosnt ask anywhere to enter the license key or something. How does the whole things work, like say we have bought 20 User CALS how do add them to the server.
Assuming iam doing "Per Device"

Hello:

I did some research,and found out that i was using wrong "Licensing" Window. Iam supposed to Use "Licensing in Control Panel" rather than "Licensing in Administrative tools".


But my questions,
When i click on "Choose Licensing Mode"
I selected "Per Device or Per user"
But for some reason "Add Licenses" button is greyed out?

Anybody any ideas why is it greyed out?
 
Licensing is for control of concurrency in per server mode, as you are running in per seat mode (i.e. you have enough CALs to cover each user or device that connects to the server) then the licensing feature is redundant.
