i don't know anything about the intracacies of the msiis. i have a client who is using frontpage98 and is publishing to an iis server which is also my print server. he had modified one of his pages? and the server replied out of disk space. my question is, if i have another drive available, can i move the inetpub directory to it and how will the iis server know to look for it's files there.<br>

You can ctreate a virutal directory in IIS to store your files. This behaves "sort off" like a mapped drive in that IIS behaves as though the folder is local even though it is not. This should open up plenty of locations for extra drive space with out having to move IIS.

You can put the content anywhere on the server you want. You must modify the properties of the web site to reflect the new location of the site. Also be sure to set the NTFS permissions on the new directory the same as the permissions on the old content directory.
