Hello to all!

I am new to the IP office line, and the one I was handed is an IP Office 500 v2, 10.1.0.1.0 build 3, in BASIC mode. The customer just wants the calls, after hours, to go to extension 100's VM. This seems really difficult to setup for some reason. At some point, also, I lost my "night mode" button on 100, and can't for the life of me figure out how to put it back on (or if it even works that way).

The office stays late often, so a timed deal won't work, but basically I want NO vm during business hours, and would like them to be able to hit a button, and leave, and have 100 answer the calls on 1st ring. Is that possible? The system was purchased on Amazon, and came "pre-configured" to some extent. It seem pretty basic though. Incoming lines ring, and the phones ring - not much fanciness there. Just need to figure out the VM.

Thank you all in Advance!!!

Using a real Partner system as a guide, set Ext. 100 as the Coverage Destination, under Trunks

Pick a button on Ext. 100 to use as "Night Service", but assign the button "VMS Cover" (First tab, button left when assigning a feature to a button"

Turn VMS Coverage ("Night Service") OFF during the day, turn it ON after hours so mailbox 100 will answer the incoming calls

I thought I had tried this, but will give it a shot and let you know. Totally makes sense. I hope it's that easy LOL.

Thanks!
