I've inherited a WAN link with a Bay AN router at each end, though the documentation that I have with these routers is woefully inadequate. I need to change a default route and am having great troubles getting it done. Is there a manual for BCC? I saw a reference in a previous posting to an IP heading or section within Site Manger, but my version of PC/Site Manager doesn't appear to have, or doesn't make it easy enough to find. I think it's quite old. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What rev S/W are you running on the routers??.There is a Site manager rev 14.2 you can download from Nortel Website.Yes,there is a bcc command documentation;you can download it from Nortel web site.

Thanks for letting me know about the information being available. I haven't had any luck using their search utility at Nortel, searching in their Customer Service area for BCC or Site Manager. Do you have any other suggestions on how to find the documentation or software? The software version on my Access Node is 12.20. Thanks for any help you can offer!

The site manager software is not free on the web site. If you look a little closer the static route command should be in the same section as your ip's ( routing ). Good Luck!! Jeter@LasVegas.com

Thanks for your input, Jeter. However, I don't have any documentation on the BCC! What I'm looking for, ideally, is a link to the documentation for an AN ver 12.2. I've searched Nortel's site, but can only find bulletins and errata and End Of Life notices (not comforting).

If anyone knows where to find that documentation, please help!

I believe I have a 14.2 2430 text file a work, if you want it provide an email address.

What version of OS does the ARN have (login to the router and type stamp)? What version of Site Manager do you have?

a series of manuals is at
filed by part number, about 20 of them.

ftp://ftp-support.baynetworks.com/pub/swcode/router/an/

seems to be new versions of the software, upto version 15
