Baseline a project, to be able to retrieve it later

I just started using VSS and cant seem to figure out how to baseline a current group of files in a project so I can retrieve them as a group later. For example if my project is current at say version 2.1 (my version, not VSS) i'd like to freeze everything as a group so in a year from when my SW version is at say 2.6, i can fetch every file that
was associated with my 2.1. I dont want to have to create a new folder for each of my releases. Its a pretty basic CM function but I can only see VSS saving files in a folder and allowing you to get at a single file rather than a frozen baseline/class.

To Base line the Project U can use the Labelling feature of VSS. Do the following
1. Open VSS explorer.
2. Right Click on the Project and Select the LABEL.
3. Enter the Label.
4. Later on, at any moment if U would like to get this version then Just View the History of the Project, Click on Labels Only.
5. Select the version U want and Click on GET.
