Hello All,

I having been playing with barring.

I need to be able to setting a barring on a users system so that a particular number that calls in gets busy tone.

On the face of it this seemed easy.

Go to incoming call route, specify the caller ID and point it to a short code feature busy.

What happens is that the system does a match on the DDI
first and does not get to my CLI match.

They do not have VMPro

Many thanks in advance

DDI's will always take priority ove the CLI on incomming calls
to achive what yu require you will need to make additional incomming call routes with the CLI details for each DDI that might be called.

Sounds Like work!!!!!!!!

I have 10 DDI's
so I create an extra entry say:

Current entry
DDI:123456
CLI: Blank
Destin:Extn201

New barring entry:
DDI:123456
CLI:666555
Destin:pointing to a shortcode (Busy)

This sounds good, if they want to bar one number and only have a small DDI range.

I'll give it a go.

Thanks IPGuru

Yip thats it & you are correct if you have a lot of numbers to bar it would be a lot of hard work
It may be easier to tell the originator of the calls (forcibly with leagal backup if necessary) not to call your company any more.

I've told the user it can't be done.

Nice

Thanks ipguru
