Have Corel V.7 -- using the barcode wizard; image goes to clipboard, then pasting to Draw to get an image. Then I'm printing to .pdf but the pdf image no longer looks like the original barcode. Anyone know what font the wizard uses to make the barcodes? Is there a way to dig in and read the macro/code behind the wizard?

The choice of font depends on th type of Barcode selected. Some forms of the Barcode have a default font that can not (shoulsd not) be changed.
Try doing a paste special, and select picture meta file. This may help the way that the text appears when publishing to PDF.
