Bar Code to Show Up?

I have finally figured out how to get the barcode text into my Crystal Report. How in the world can I get the text converted to a barcode? This is my first time working with CR so please excuse my ignorance. Thanks

I haven't worked with barcodes before but I believe you need to use the appropriate barcode fonts. Here is whitepaper from CD's website:

Install the font into your windows font folder, as I suggested in the thread -
thread149-685973

SELECT the field you want to display as a barcode -
Right Click, Select "Format Field".

Select the Font tab - then Select the Font "BarCode39" from the drop-down list.

I have a font 'free 3 of 9' that shows up in the dropdown list, but it displays nothing. The other 3 of 9 file is not loaded in the dropdown. What could I be doing wrong?

What version of Windows are you using?

What version of Crystal Reports are you using?

Can you use the 3 of 9 font in any other application (eg. MS-WORD)?

I'm having problem for the bar code to show up when I preview. What did u do to get it show up in preview mode?
