Bank Recs not working

We're running Mas90 4.1 SP1 is installed.

We're starting the bank rec program mid-year and have reconciliated Dec 2007 & Jan 2008 and we're off balance. so we want to put in the adjustment bank rec. However, when we do that, it also modifies the Book Balance.

We found the Sage article recommending SP1, (Number: BR4003-T) but we have SP1 installed.

We've also tried Bank Rec maintenance and the variance still appears and we cannot close the statement.

any suggestions?

You'll need to go into Bank Reconcilliation, Main, Bank Code Maintenance, and adjust the Current Balance. This is a one-time adjustment that you should never have to do again.

Mmm... we tried that. It not only adjusts the adjusted bank balance but also the calculated book balance. And then does not tie to TB.

Any ideas?
