Bandwith Restriction on FastEthernet Interface

I need to know if it is possible to restrict the outgoing traffic on fastethernet interface.

For several reasons outgoing traffic must be lowered to 6 Mbps on 100 Mbps interface.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank you, i've handled that with rate-limit command.
 
CAR will do this but has been superceded now to be honest and you're kinda recommended to look at stuff like shaping or policing. Only difference between the 2 is that policing will drop traffic that is ouf of contract where shaping just buffers it.
