I have 10 medpro card in the same IP-network-region and about 200 IP stations. I found the occupancy about medpro cards is inequality. Only one card is very busy most of time.
How many port networks do you have? For IP connect, medpro is used as the bearer for inter PN calls. The medpro resources usage depends on the number of a calls a port network has. There is no load balancing among the medpros across port netwroks.
I was once told by Tier 4 Avaya engineer that the algorithm for each loand on CM3 behaves differently for Medpro resource. We had an issue where the dedicated medpro for witness was being used for normal voice because the IP Network Region it was assigned was lower than the PN network region. I increased this value for the Witness Medpro, and voila, the resource got distributed to the PN correctly. So the answer to your question is, nobody but the developers will know exactly
im assuming you have CM version below 3.0; therefore you're not using crossfire medpro. you can't balance the 10 medpro among 13PN's assuming you have 1 clan per PN. Choose the least used PN (proc occu) then set it up for VOIP; try using 2 or 3 PN then control the IP registration by assigning the call server IP add on IP phones.
