Badmail Filling Up

I have just stop an open relay on a SBS 2000 Exchange server. The problem I now have is that the Bad mail folder keeps filling up with Bad mail files so much so that the system slows to a stop. I have found a work around by creating a new smtp server within the exchange manager and this has stop the problem. Can any tell me just for my info if there is any other was I could have fix this.

I have the same problem on mu exchange 2000 server. Can you tell me why the bad mai folder is filling up so fast and eating up my space and what I can do to correct this problem? Thanks.
