Hi ..

i keep getting (BAD_POOL_HEADER) error when i connect my USB Flash disk .. i get the blue screen sayiing that the system is shutting down (BAD_POOL_HEADER)..i guess that i started getting this after installing SP2 .. not sure ..

what would be the solution ??

Still having the problem .. anyone has any idea how it could be solved
 
Some general things to try.

Try Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.

i still have the problem guys !!! don't know what to do
:( .. the only way i guess is the install XP on over itself ..is there any other way ???
