Our switch has a large amount of TN's that are bad. Is there a way to remove them from the LUVU list? Someone once told me there was a command to do so that they wouldn't show up anymore.

I know I could just throw a DN on them but I'm trying to avoid that. Thanks.

If it is an Analog set use OOSSLT
If it is a Digital set use OOSMLT

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

REQ CHG
TYPE OOSSLT or OOSMLT (Whichever it is)

LD11
REQ NEW
TYPE OOSMLT (for a digital TN)

or

LD10
REQ NEW
TYPE OOSSLT (for an analog TN)

You'll never find the prompts and possible responses for programming TNs in books under LD20.

best thing to do, instead of flagging them as bad, repair them.. when i took over this account they had 100+ tns, built and des'ed as badtn... now we have zero..

new out of service is great for a temp fix.. not really a maint command

If your paying for maintainence on a per port basis, then you should have the Vendor replace all bad ports and not just flag them.
