Anybody know anything about bad target lines?

The customer in question is on 4.1XC and target 335 does not complete call to the extension. I get a partial or no ring then the call goes to the attendant.

Tested with other targets and they work correctly as programed. Any ideas about how to handle the problem when "normal" rules don't apply?

Thanks.

Have you tried changing the incoming digits to a different target line and assigning it to the set. may not be as pretty but if it works.

Hello all,

Thanks for posting on this.

I have tried differendt digits on different targets and the digits in question/use to other targets. They all work fine.

I tried call forward and AA settings as well. Assigning a different target with the desired digits works fine. I am sure it's some kind of line problem rather than a set setting.

Tried reboot. Didn't resole the problem.

Anybody got anything else?

Thanks again,

Scott

Is it the target line number itself that doesn't work, or is it the received digits that you put in the target line that don't work?

why if target lines start arround 154 or 145 or 157 are you at 355... are you using 200 DIDs? sweet jesus man just pick a different target line or upgrade to see if it goes away

A target line is a target line is a target line.

It doesn't make any difference what target line you use, just put the right ext number on it. You can use any target line.

phoneguy, as stated in my previous posts, that particular target does not work. Same digits on other lines are fine.

lugerlover, target 335 not 355. Yes, the customer does want to use all of their DIDs.

Did you guys actually read the thread before posting?

Ace, thanks. Agreed, usually a target line is a target line. However, this scenario is is what I would consider unusual, hence the post.

As I said, I have tried different combinations of lines and digits and phones, including setting the "bad" target to private to strip it from anywhere else it may have been programed/assigned. Every time, target 335 is the common point of failure.

hawks, Melissa, where are you???

Any other channel partners have any maintenance release notes on this?
