built computer lil over 1 year ago
ran fine w/ 2000 and then xp for about 4 months...one day it automatically rebooted...never got it to run again...i have my hd partitioned so most data was backed up
formatted the os partition and re-installed...computer runs fine for a lil while but then reboots...had mem checked, and nit card checked...all fine...tried running 2000 but still reboots

set windows to not automaticall reboot but it does it anyway..

under xp i get these error blue screens:
pagefault in non paged area
...ntfs.sys file missing or corrupt
an attempt was made to write to a read only memory
irql not less or equal

under 200 i have gotten these error blue screens:
irql not less or equal
a divice driver has corrupted the exutive memory pool

seems every time i try to run win i get a different message...
lately os sees my floppy and dvd but they dont seem to work properly...

sounds to me like hardware but not sure where to start...please help...thx

o yeah it also seems that it usually reboots when im playing a game(counterstrike or asherons call 2)online...i use roadrunner cable...

Have you tried setting the bios to its default setting?

I recently had the same problem. I don't know if the solution will work for you. In my case, I replaced the memory & everything worked as well as it had before.
Hope this helps!
