Hi all,
I was reviewing BayStack 450-24T logs and came across following entry:
Bad port(s) detected, Portmask: 0x7ff7ffff
I do understand that something bad with one or more ports on the switch, but which one? May be portmask can help me to identify it. Any help?

I'm not sure how to interpret the mask, but here's a guess.

If we ignore the leading 7 and convert FF7FFFF to binary we get: 1111 11110111 11111111 11111111 which might make sense if we assume 24 ports plus an MDA slot with up to 4 ports. That might mean port 20 is the one its flagging... or maybe its port 9 if they read left-to-right... or maybe I'm way off and am leading you astray.

Do your port statistics show anything?

The answer from anthonyanderberg is right and the code should be read from right to left. Code ff7ffff indicates the failure of port 20.

Thanks guys. Port 20 is disabled right now.
