Has anyone seen these errors they started when I upgraded the server to 6.11. The errors are from the client which is a SQL server 7.0 with 6.11 Networker client and BSM 2.0 sp3 for SQL. The group appears to still be backing up and the details shows a single database backup still in progress, but there is no session listed. If the group is stopped and started again manually seems to finish successfully. KB hit doesn't apply writting to Default pool.

Error on Client
18210 :
BackupVirtualDeviceFile::RequestDurableMedia: Flush failure on backup device 'BSMSQL0002A8'. Operating system error 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.).

thnks,
joe

Have you found a solution?

Thanks a lot

Roberto

ever worked or just stop working? Maybe you need to backup sql from the virtual alias. My problem was solved with fixing nic configuration.

joe

Do you have more details on what NIC configuration change did resolve the problem ?

Diego
