Really old tapes, need to restore old data. The server structure has changed since these backups originally ran (used to have a volume 4, now only go up to 3, etc.). We are using redirection for the restore job but getting the following errors:
Insufficient privilege for <filename> skipped
Novell SMS errors were encountered
Trustee CN=Print.OU=Operators.O=Admin was not restored for VOL3:DATA/ because the trustee ids are different.

The directory structure is created but the desired file is not restored.

Any thoughts?

Cleo02,

I'm in the same boat, and wondering if you had found a solution?

FYI: BE 9.10.1156, NW 6.5.2, and it looks like I've tried many of the things you have (redirection, different logins, starting BE with different credentials, "short" and "long" form context logins, restoring to nss volumes, restoring to traditional volumes, restoring through a win2k agent, a partridge, a pear tree.....)

Any insight would be much apreciated.

Scott
