BackupExec 8.6 Install withouth tape drive?

Hi,

Stupid question. I wanted to install Backup Exec on my test Windows2000 system and wanted to ask a stupid question probably? I don't have a tape drive but wanted to install this and test it in a Windows2000 environment. I just wanted to be able to back this up via disk not tape. Is this possible with Backup Exec 8.6?

Yes, I have installed veritas on a systme with no tape drive and it works fine.

version 8.6
there is an option to backup to folder(like a disk folder)
so you can test it.

also, when u install, just hit Next at the licensing screen and you will be in eval mode which allows you to run every option.
