I am installing a vm pro on Win7 as backup to the main vm pro on windows 2003. I can't find a way to configure the SMTP service in the IIS on Win7. I have enabled the IIS7 feature on Win7 with IIS6 compatibility and enabled the ASP.net feature which adds the SMTP service. I just can't modify SMTP service.

There is no SMTP in windows 7. You cannot use it as a backup. I believe its only supported on same OS setups as well.

AACon is correct. You cannot modify the SMTP service on Windows 7 because Windows Vista and Windows 7 no longer have SMTP capability. It is also just a flat out bad idea to use a workstation OS to run VMP even if Avaya lists it as possible.
