Backup to Tape - Need Encryption

We are currently running Backup Exec 9.1, fully service packed, and backing up to AIT-2 tapes. We are not encrypting the contents of the tapes.

Does anybody have any recommendations on software (either from Veritas or third-party) that will encrypt the contents of the tape?

Backup Exec doesnt have any encryptions. Netbackup there is a Tape Encryption add-on but you will pay a price for it.
I only know of hardware solutions that sit in between the media server and the tape device or the media server and the network.
