While backing up "All Selected Files" to a file, located on a removable hard disk, I receive a message indicating the file has become too large for Windows (Win98SE). Is there a way to overcome this situation w/o doing multiple backups?

Hey!, I got the same using Windows 2000 (Bundled Backup Exec)trying to back up a laptop to a C: drive partition which had about 16gb free!!. The backup total was 5gb uncompressed. I think this may be a "bug".

I now use Win98 backup on the laptop to "push" the data to the Win2k workstation's disk. Far more reliable. Win98 backup seems so much better I can't see why the product appears to have taken a retrograde step?.

Backup 2k suffers from another fault as well
It tends to just "hang" after about 1 hour. I can't find any bug references to date.
