I am using the Backup-To-Disk option in backup exec 9.1, and it works great except it keeps creating backup archives instead of using an existing on, using up the backup device space. The job is a daily backup, overwrite media, full backup. I just want it to use one archive (file) for each day...

Is the overwrite protection set to one day for the Media Set being used? To do this click the Media tab, right click the media set, left click properties, and set the overwrite timeframe.
