Backup Strategy Query!!

How exactly does veritas actually decide in which order a nightly backup is ran? Is it ran by how you add the files in the backup selections or is it done alphabetically??

Hi,

You can actually set the order that the resources get serviced. I believe it is a Resource Order tab in the job properties screen. This is with 9.x, not sure about previous versions.

Does anyone know if I can backup at a destination at a certain time (eg 9pm) then go and backup at a different location and then revisit the previous location at a later time (eg. 11pm)

You will have to create mutiple jobs for that.
