Backup speed very slow

I'm using Win2K server, Legato 6.1.3, HP Ultrum LTO backup device.
I don't know when backup my server, the speed is "super" slow. Around 4x/kb/s. Before, I have 4xxx/kb/s. Because my server has 170Gb data, the backup speed is not acceptable. Any expert can help? Many thanks.

The first reason for that could be that your nics set to auto. Check that network switch and the nics are set to 100(or 1000) and Full.

Never use auto detect on a Windows system, I rarely see it detect and set the right config.

Refer to the NetWorker Performance Guide for helpful hints.

Try using ntbackup. do you see the same performance?

My problem is fixed. Solution is "Install Networker 6.2"!!
