Hi Folks,
i try to Backup a single Mailbox of my Exchange 2000 Cluster System. When i use the Client for Exchange, i receive a Message : mapi.c (711) OpenMsgStore() 0x800411d

This Steps i try:

Change the Account of the Remote Exec Service to my Exchange Account

Logon to the Server, as my Exchange User
Enter the Exchange Account in the Admin List of Networker

But, nothing help me

Is it a must, to install a messaging Client like Outlook on the Exchange Server ?,

Any Tips ?

Ok,
firstly, have you modified the service on the exchange client to use the Exchange Service Admin account (not your exchange account)?
If so, then ensure you have it defined using the full domain name (e.g. maildom/Eadmin). Note that this should be the account that starts the Exchange IS.
If you are doign manual backups on the client, then you will need to use the exchange client on the box using this account.

Thanks for the information.

The articles that I found most useful were both Microsoft Knowledge: Q259221 XADM: Security Tab Not Available on all Objects in System Manager
and
Q262054 XADM: How to Get Service Account Access to all Mailboxes in Exchange 2000.
