Backup Server Edition

Hi

Does the backup (secondary) server need a server edition license or does sit on the primary and push it to the backup

The answer is yes and yes. You need a SE license for the secondary but you have to bind it against primary server and it will host that license for secondary.

What about Sip Licenses?? Do you need them on both or just the primary??

Take a look into IPO solution description. It describes the licensing. Especially what licenses have to be centralized and what you need per node.
