backup/restore of a NT registry 1

Can you backup/restore a NT registry with Backup Exec? Any version, we have them all!
 
Yes, you can. You have to select system32 during a backup.
When you do a restore, in the restore properties under General, is a option to tick for the Registry restore.

Sorry, select system32 in the backup selection, not during a backup. I'm not quiet awake yet :)

Do you need to select the entire system32 directory or system32\config ?
