Hi All,

Have a problem here that I haven't been able to solve and I hope ye might be able to help. Got a periodical system dump fail there this morning, inf1 36, inf2 11. A DUSYI successfully dumps , gives following external backup update error: failed for Directory REL1. DUBDP tells me that REL1 is not vaild.

I've tried to block hdu and unmount subfs syssubfs11 but it (FIMOE) says "not accepted mount point for a subfile system", so I can't repair the filesystem.

Anybody any ideas of where I go from here?

Thanks and Regards,
MeesterM

hi

you need to post FISCP:IODEV=SYSDISK1;

your TMFS is mounted on USR1, unmount TMFS then you can unmount REL1.

best parnum

TOTAL DISK SPACE:2067 MBYTES
SUBFS: SYSSUBFS11
KBYTES FILES
TOTAL AVAIL TOTAL MOUNTED
64512 55098 16000 /SYSN/USR1
SUBFS: SYSSUBFS21
KBYTES FILES
TOTAL AVAIL TOTAL MOUNTED
64512 46028 16000 /SYSN/USR2

Regarding TMFS, how do you unmount that exactly. Thanks for the reply and thanks for your help,

You are force to do the restart to remove corruption in NIP.

RFPUI:LIM=1,UNIT=NIP;
YES;

This will log you out. Log back in after 30 seconds or after you received spontaneous print from the system.

I am assuming you already unblock the equ.

Then do DUSYI; once more.

Cheers

Hi Patcher,

Thanks for that, got same error on doing dusyi though, "Failed for directory REL1". Any other ideas?

Thanks and Regards,
