Is it possible to backup and restore the phone system to floppy disk. I read, elsewhere in this forum, that it is possible to backup the voicemail system to floppy. Is it also possible to backup the phone system programming in a similar manner?

Thanks,
bigguy

in LD 43 type edd (both the hdd and floppy drive); bko (backup to floppy only) or res (restore database)

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been overwhelmed the last few days.

I have a modular ICS 1.1 system
I have a fast rad (installed this morning).

The tech had some version of remote utilities with which he was able to connect to the fast rad via dial up and present an on screen version of a phone and do some programming. I am not sure which version of the software (BTW does the software come with the FastRAD unit?).

Prior to purchase and install, I was told by the tecch that the fast rad would allow me to backup the phone system to floppy. We tried it this morning a received a message that backups for the ICS 1.1 are not supported. Sigh.

Any ideas what to do next.

Thanks,
Guy
