Backup Oracle V9 on TIVOLI 5.1

We have Tivoli 5.1 ruinning on a 6M1 AIX5.1 .I am trying to use TSM to backup Oracle when I kick the backup of I get the following error message from RMAN " Failure to allocate command on t1 channel Error allocating device type SBT_TAPE,devices name SKGFGSBI failed to initialize storage subsystems (SBT) layer AIX RISC SYSTEM/6000 Error 2507 system call number 2507 .... I can't find the error message .........

What I am I doing wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
did you resolve your problem. I am getting the same error and am unable to find a solution or meaning to the error message.

This the info I got from IBM when I made the change they recommended it started working ..........

The rc 2507 corresponds to the TDP for Oracle message:
"ANU2507E Runtime API version is outdated"
I see that you are using the TSM API 4.2 with the TDP 5.2. I would
suggest you to use the TSM API 5.2 fileset available at:
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/maintenance/client/v5r2/AIX/AIX64bit/LATEST/

hi,
thanks for your link. I also noticed the error message as above in tdpoerror.log then comparing the filesets installed with another server realised i was missing
tivoli.tsm.loc.client.oracle.aix51.64bit.ela

Once I installed the above fileset , i was able to backup.
