Backup Oracle error

Hello People,

I need your help and appreciate your attention on this:
When I start a backup of Oracle, erros was displayed and not run.
I start a Gxtail and log sequencer to determine what problem occours.

Did it work before? If not, were there any errors during the installation? Did you fill in the correct credentials in the Oracle SubClient (including domain!). Are the latest CommVault patches installed? If yes, is there anything in the RMAN log?

I have experienced this error (WaitClOraAgent() - Unknown message type=150995202.) and wondered if you have found a solution as I am stumped!

I echo dutchtreat's comments, especially about the RMAN log. While the job is running, double click it in the job manager window. On the pop-up that opens, click the View RMAN Log button. CommVault's Oracle agent is an interface into RMAN. You need to work out whether the problem is with the actual backup of the database (which RMAN does) or whether it's the Simpana processing before or after that.

When you're viewing the RMAN log, wait until the job completes, then copy and paste the RMAN log here.
