I am having a problem with my backup. I have 8 servers that reside on a specific storage policy that will not get past 5%. The log file keeps listing the following

2464 b3c 01/11 18:00:15 1009 Scheduler Phase [4-Scan] started on [prob-hq] - FSIFIND.NLM -j 1009 -a 2:36 -t 2 -d backupsrv1 -r 1168308026 -ab 0 -i 0 -cs backupsrv1 -jt 1009:4:1
2464 9a8 01/11 18:00:16 1009 Servant Reg [Control] received. Host [prob-hq]. Token [1009:4:1]
2464 95c 01/11 18:00:23 1009 Scheduler Phase [Failed] message received from [prob-hq] Module [FSIFIND] Token [1009:4:1] restartPhase [0]

I am at a total loss. My support is through DELL due to the fact we purchased a SAN / Commvault package. SO far they have yet to call back with help.

6.1?
Do you have Data interface pairs created for the client?
Is this a file system backup? or DB? what does the cvd log say on the client?

Netware file system backup?

If so ensure that you have applied SP3 and Post SP3 Service Packs (there are some FSIFIND.NLM updates included).

Also check if you installed the TSA5UP18.exe from Novell.support.com (do not use the newer TSA5UP19, this version is not a right one). Backup programs communicate through NetWare's Storage Management Services (SMS).

regards

Missed some SP3 updates. Thanks Birky.
