I have a Novell 4.11 network with Arcserve 6.1 for Netware running on the primary server. I also have a Linux box running mail and web services on this network.

Does anyone know of a Linux/Unix client that will allow backup of this Linux box to the Arcserve running on the Netware server?

Thanks in advance,

Though I work with both Linux and netware and love both...sometimes "less is more" (quote from a famous architect)it might make sense from an integration / backup and possibly ultimate expense, when you factor in time and the purchase of oddball utilities) to use Netware's Groupware product for your email (groupwise)

Not that Groupwise does a heck a lot more in the documentmant managment and integration deparment (yes even with Microsoft's Office 2000 products)

Though Linux is "free" sometimes "free" has a big hidden cost.

Check it out at Novell's website as sometimes the best way to solve a problem is to go around it by going elsewhere.

Your time has a cost to you and your employer.

You might be able to sell the deal on the benefits of a email + document mangment platform.

Have fun
