Backup Job Source list empty after 11.1 upgrade

Hi All,

I could really use some help with this situation.

I recently upgraded from 11.0 to 11.1 sp2. The patch upgrades were successful with no errors or warnings. however, i have just discovered that when i try to modify a job, the source tab is empty, ie, it doesn't show the files that are being backed up. 2 other backup jobs have run since the patches were installed and these jobs source tabs are also empty.

any ideas what happened and how i can fix this?

Excuse me, I do not understand...

The jobs works with no errors even if you can't see the graphical display of the sources ?

in this case you have only 2 choices:

1) Modify the job adding (i.e.) a test folder then save is with another name. This should work.

2) If 1) does not work you have to open an issue with c.a., this is VERY strange

Have your tried creating new jobs and not use the old ones that were in place during the upgrade, just a thought.

This was very strange indeed.

The jobs were being completed. When i try to create a new job, i had the same problem. the source list wasn't there for me to choose what i needed to backup.

i tried adding a server, but it wouldn't show any sub folders.

I ended up saving the jobs and reinstalling.
