I have recently re-installed 8.6 after unsuccessfully upgrading to 9. Now I'm having trouble restoring a normal daily backup of the server. I'm backing up to a 20 GB tape drive. I have it set to overwrite. The backup is queued with no explanation as to why. The job log shows no activity. What would this indicate is going wrong?

Backup job is queued - job log empty

Not sure if this is much help, but I ran into the same problem w/ Netbackup Businesserver 3.4. The problem was that NB was looking for a specific tape to backup the NB catalog, but I took that tape out of the library. I had to manually change the tape it was looking for and everything ran fine after that. Hope that helps...
