Backup job goes to 'Hold' status part way through job

Have tried recreating the job and removing elements from the list but this still happens. Any ideas?

Do you use staging? Do you have enough space on the staging? Is the threshold met?

Thanks for interest but I solved the problem. Just required upgrading from r11.0 to r11.1 thanks to W2K3 SP2.
