Hi,

It use to work, but it doesn't anymore.

EM version is 3.1.2.5
OPS version is 7.5.3.4
Java version is 1.5.0_7
ICP 3300 version is 7.1.5.13

Windows server 2003 us SP2

IIS server is running, it is allowed to put files...

Event viewer says ADBR error

Any idea ?

Regards

Now, it's about French users too !!!

I know it sounds silly, but verify the username/passwords on both the server (for the FTP user), and the ICP.

Hi, thanks but It was done... ;-(

Now, it's about French users too !!!

Anything in the Event Logs on the server to give us a clue? This isn't rocket science, I'm guessing it's logins, permissions, bad addressing, or something silly like that.

At what point in the process does the ADBR error occur.

Before starting Backup
During Backup
During FTP Transfer

When the error occurs might give us a clue.

If we don't take care of the customer, Maybe they'll stop bugging us.

ICP says backup is ok
I suppose it is a ftp problem, that's why I've tested the ftp access and user account.
I think it is a silly thing too...

I can't have the error log right now, but I will asap...

While I'm writing, I'm thinking of something...
Could be in fact a network problem..
If ICP tries to out the file thru ftp onto the OPS I have to check connectivity between ICP network and OPS network...

I keep you in touch

Thanks

I would log in to the Enterprise Manager using the credentials as programmed in the Controller Registry Form and see if you can create a file in the appropriate directory.

This was the MNMS user in the 2K days but can be anyhting now.

Hi,

This is the event viewer log :

Timed out when transferring /vmail/temp/db/archive/ICP3300.dba via FTP <ADBRerror>

; aborted: (Mgpuh1) Timed out when transferring /vmail/temp/db/archive/ICP3300.dba via FTP .

I gonna try what kwbMitel says...regards

MITEL says that the OPS version stayed only one day on their server because it is fully bugged...
I gonna upgrade it and see what happens !!

Now, it's about French users too !!!

I'm going to upgrade to 7.5.3.5 in few hours. Will report any kind of issues.

I remember I read ICP must be ins latest version too !!

Hi we are getting the same problem did you manage to fix it?

How big is the backup of the 3300? How big of a link between the 3300 and Ops server? I have a customer with a 175meg backup (embedded vmail with 100 users with lots o messages), with a T1 between sites. Ops will not back it up, it times out. A backup from the ops server via the ESM does pass. This is a ops ftp timeout error, as ack'd by design. Hopefully a fix comes soon. Feel free to bring it up to support, the more tickets tagged against a DPAR the better.

good shot "Mitel Tech",

But in my case, ICP and OPS are connected to the same switch.

Unfortunatly, the case still opened.

MITEL support is noticed...
